I come to tavern once a week after work. They used to have mothers milk and it was cheap, and I would drink a few of those and get rowdy. Now they don't have mothers milk, but they have something that no other bar has- A colleen. Yes, Colleen is an all around 5 tool customer service champion. I have seen her work the crowd and put in every effort to pace my drinking so that she knows when I need a refill. This is the anticipation I love in someone. Great foresight, confidence, poise,  discipline and anticipation This is what makes a champion in my eyes, even as they become more blurry with every sip. 

Good place to come to if you want to sit on the sidewalk and watch people that are in better shape than you walk by. Also, pretty good food. 

My only complaint is that they don't have mothers milk anymore. It was such a goldmine drink to have there, but I got over it because Colleen has recognized that I drink vodka on the rocks much quicker than mothers milk and therefore help the 3rd avenue economy out more. This is my new afterwork hotspot to go with friends to get the awesome selection of happy hour beers. The bartenders are super nice and always right there when they see your glass getting low. 

They also have my favorite beer here (Sea Dog) which my friends and I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the city. 

Actually just won a happy hour for tomorrow so I am definitely going to get a little wierd with my frandssss. 

Also if you have foursquare, your first draft beer is free every single time you check-in. Every. Single. Time. See this review online

Well the cool factor is definitely present when you are at Tavern on Third. I went there to watch the UEFA Euro Cup championship. It was fantastic. I posted up in one of the tables in the back. I have never been to a bar before that allows their customers to pour their own beers. It made life a lot easier for me to drown my sorrows as Italy got their asses kicked by Spain. The bartender was great and the pricing was reasonable. I'll definitely head over there to watch a few games sometime soon. See this review online
